As usual the year kicks off with a sales period, where a bunch of brands and retailers offers decent discounts on a bunch of stuff. Here’s a summary of some nice ongoing sales within the quality shoe sphere.
Crockett & Jones
Oh how things have changed in the world. Just five years ago or so, C&J was still rather hard to find a wide range of online, they prioritised physical stores so the relatvely rare online retailers often were low on stock, and to find decent sales of the brand was even more rare. Now, Crockett & Jones have their own webshop with basically their entire range, and twice a year they run a large sale. Up to 30% on a good selection of products.
Saint Crispin’s, Stefano Bemer, Bontoni and their own Spanish-made Goodyear welted shoes or Chinese hand welted top range – as usual Norwegian store Cavour has a surprisingly extensive sale. Lots of models often in many sizes are part of the sale, between 30-40% discount, which gives great chances for a nice bargain.
J. FitzPatrick Footwear
J. FitzPatrick has a sale on almost 70 different models, most of them welted shoes, from a small 10% discount up to 30% off on discontinued models that won’t come back in stock again. On the entry level range JF Line one also get one pair for free if one order three pairs, which obviously results in 33% off.
The British online store Bodileys Northampton offer a 20% discount on all shoes under their own label, which are Goodyear welted midrange shoes made by various Northampton factories. At this price you sure get a lot of shoes for your money. You’ll get the discount by using the code NY2023 at the checkout. (The top picture is from Bodileys.)
The French multi-brand store Upper Shoes has a sales section including brands like Santoni, Crockett & Jones, Carlos Santos, Kanpekina and several others. It’s basically only end of line-products so not much stock left in most cases, discounts are quite good with mainly between 30-40% off.
The past six months Shoepassion has revamped, with a new website and instead of selling shoes under the Shoepassion brand they’ve introduced the new labels Henry Stevens and N93 along with Heinrich Dinkelacker which they’ve owned since many years, plus started selling a bunch of other cheaper brands as well. It’s mainly from Henry Stevens and Dinkelacker one find welted footwear, and have to search a bit harder for the good stuff nowadays, but there’s a bunch part of the sale at up to 50% off.
As always, just a small selection, do highlight other sales in the comments section below.
