A new international second hand market place for classic shoes have seen the light of day, as Justin FitzPatrick has teamed up with Gentlyco/ShopMehra to launch The Shoe Snob Buy & Sell.

For those looking for used classic men’s shoes or subs, Ebay and StyleForum are the biggest options today. For Swedes, Shoegazing’s buying and sell section on the forum has become popular since it is easy to send shoes within the country, or even meet for purchase. Now there’s a new nice international alternative for those who want to sell or buy second hand/subs, with The Shoe Snob Buy & Sell.

Canadian Gaurav Mehra, who runs the Shop Mehra online store – which sells Gaziano & Girling, Enzo Bonafé, Vass and Toramally from India – started a year ago Gently.co, a site designed to simplify second-hand trade with classic shoes by focusing just on this and have a more curated selection of shoes. Here you can easily filter brands, size, condition, model type and so on. This page is now under The Shoe Snob’s umbrella for better reach, and is found through the Buy & Sell tab on the blog or directly at marketplace.theshoesnobblog.com. At present, it is not a huge selection, but it will likely become really good in the future and be another good channel to find good shoe bargains. In addition to the fact that “regular people” can sell shoes, retailers are welcome to put up for example subs or last pairs etc.
