News – New Saphir Medaille d’Or premium sneaker care range

Now Saphir is upping the sneaker care game to a new level with a new premium range, aimed at customers of the the luxury brands that want the best to care for their expensive sneakers. A range that only will be available at a selected few high-end retailers.

It’s no news that sneakers has taken over a fair share of the footwear market, and are worn by everyone almost everywhere. Also in the luxury segment, the famous fashion houses and other expensive brands offer fine sneakers, often at prices from €500 and up. For the customers purchasing these shoes, there haven’t really been sneaker care products that are in line with these. Saphir’s previous sneaker care products may be the quality shoe nerds’ choice, Jason Markk is the preferred one for the sneaker heads, Tarrago Sneaker Care is a good choice for a wider customer base, and so on. Now this new Saphir range will try to become the given choice for the non-price-sensitive luxury shoppers.

In packages made by one of the world’s most acclaimed makers of cosmetics bottles and jars, an Italian company, and with the absolute highest selection of ingredients, the new range is developed to really be top-class all around. I’ve tested a range of the products and they are really nice to work with, no doubt the product quality is of a high level.

The bottles and jars certainly have a premium feel over them.

Part of the range initially is a cleaner, a nourishing serum, a non-aerosol waterproofing spray, a refillable shoe cream, a fine cloth plus a travel shoehorn. They will be sold at only a selected range of high end retailers, a few departments stores and online stores around the world. And prices are high, well over the regular Medaille d’Or range. For example, the cleaner is priced at about €45, and the shoe cream at €55. It’s an interesting approach to up the game in this segment of care products.
