The picture - Dress rugged

With a general move towards dressing more casual, it’s given that we can see more and more brands merging classic dress with more rugged styling. This here by Norman Vilalta is a good example.

The base of the shoe is a rather sleek, elegant dressy last, but when it’s combined with the grain leather and of course the heavy, rugged sole, it becomes something different. Something that is more suitable with how more people dress nowadays. More standard semi dress / semi casual stuff, where all things are more aligned within the same segment, are still more common, but I have nothing against when one bring stuff from different more dress and more rugged and turn it into something in between. As long as one still maintain the quality of construction and materials.
