One of the classic British online stores for quality men’s shoes is back in business. Two year’s ago they closed to store and sold of all the stock. One thought that was it. But now Pediwear has re-opened, with quite a large stock from several brands like Carlos Santos, Carmina, Tricker’s, Sanders and so on.
Here’s the article I wrote when Pediwear closed back in 2022, something that was a bit extra sad to me since my first pair of welted shoes were bought from them. A bit weirdly they then reopened to sell out remaining stock last year. But then most probably presumed that that was it, apparently, we we’re all wrong. All of a sudden we who subscribed to Pediwear’s newsletter got a mail from them stating that they had relaunched. Apparently the site has been live again since the summer, and now this week they opened up for new orders.
From what I can see they have have quite a lot of shoes in stock again, from the brands that they’ve decided to continue with. Some of their previous brands are listed but when you click in on them it’s basically nothing available, so it’s clear that they streamlined their offering. Still a good selection though with good prices, from brands like Carlos Santos, Carmina, Tricker’s, Sanders, Barker, Cheaney, they’re own brand Edward & James and so on. Glad to see that they are back, hopefully what didn’t work for them before have now been solved and they can be around for many more decades.
I don’t think the pair on the 2nd picture is Tricker’s, more likely Grenson
