The contest is organised in collaboration with Saphir and Bridlen, with the final taking place at the New York Super Trunk Show on Saturday October 4, where finalists will have 20 minutes to achieve the best mirror shine.

Time to qualify to the U.S. Championships of Shoe Shining 2025, with the finals taking place at the large shoe event New York Super Trunk Show on October 4. The contest and the event are organised by The Shoe Snob, Shoegazing and Kirby Allison in collaboration with sponsors Saphir shoe care and Bridlen shoes. The shiners will battle for glory, medals, shoes, shoe care products plus now also with $800 in the prize pool, given by Saphir.
The Super Trunk Show in London once again proved its position as a central meeting point for the world of quality men’s footwear. Throughout the day the venue was buzzing with activity, from the busy exhibitor floor to the three world championship finals, and countless conversations between makers, retailers, and shoe enthusiasts from across the globe.

Now the road to the finals of the World Championships of Shoe Shining and the World Championships of Shoe Patina 2025 starts, with the qualifications. The contests are organised together with the shoe care company Saphir and the shoe brand Bridlen, with finals at the London Super Trunk Show on Saturday May 10. Contestants will battle it out for glory, medals, shoes, shoe care products plus now also with £600 / $750 in the prize pool of each contest, given by Saphir.
Bridlen is one of those brands that never stand still, but continues to develop their offerings year after year.
