The French brand Prince Jorge is a bit off the radar for many, despite offering a wide range of affordable, nice looking Goodyear welted shoes in entry to midrange segment. Now they run a sale on a bunch of models that will be discontinued, starting at 50% off the RRP at €150 making for some excellent bargains to be made.

Prince Jorge started off as the top range of the brand Markowski, with the new owners taking over after the Markowski founder Marcos Fernandez. Since a few years they only use Prince Jorge, and outside France it’s much lesser known than what the original brand name was. The shoes offered are still good stuff for the price though, with a number of different ranges, like a Blake stitched Italian-made range from €250 RRP, Goodyear welted range made in Portugal at €300, Spanish made range with a bit finer leathers and finishing at about €400, plus sneakers and Blake stitched women’s shoes etc.

It’s mainly from the main range with Portuguese welted shoes that Prince Jorge now is discontinuing a number of models, and there’s quite a lot available both in terms of styles and sizes in many cases. Most are at 50% off, so at €150, which certainly is a good price for shoes of this quality. Styles available vary a bit, form classic oxfords and derbys to wholecuts (also boots) in more daring colours. Definitely worth to take a look, the site is only in French but they ship internationally, and you can use Google translate on the site to make it understandable if needed.
