A bunch of sales has already started in the shoe world, and more is likely incoming the coming weeks. As usual I’m here to highlight a few good ones where you can make a bargain on quality footwear.
Loding
The French maker of entry level Goodyear welted and Blake stitched shoes Loding offers a 25% discount on their whole range of shoes, which means you can get their Portugese made welted shoes for less than €190. They also have some discontinued models at half the RRP.
Barker
The British company Barker basically always run very large sales, and this summer edition is no exception. Almost 300 styles (!) from all their various ranges are currently offered at a discount, which goes as high as 50% in some cases. Quite many sizes left for many models as well.
Lester
The Swedish store Lester is one of the largest shops in Scandinavia when it comes to more casual quality shoes and boots. Their ongoing sale has discounts between 20-50% on shoes from brands like Berwick, Danner, Fiddler, Loake, Astorflex, Paraboot and others.
Crockett & Jones
The big English player Crockett & Jones continue to spoil us with big seasonal sales. Part of this summer sale are 90 styles, mostly men’s but also some women’s shoes, with discounts up to 30%. Many are a bit more special styles, but also true classics like the Coniston boot or Hallam oxfords.
Carmina
Going from the British giant of welted shoes to the Spanish dito. Carmina has 25% off on various models, including Shell cordovan styles, and albeit not all have plenty of sizes left there’s a good chance to find something you’ve been looking for.
Vass
The Hungarian company Vass aren’t as active on the international scene as they were a few years ago, but they still do their fine fully handmade shoes out of Budapest. On their webshop they have a selection of samples on sale at up to 40% off, plus a few regular RTW models with smaller discounts at 10-25% off (it’s what they call “Best deals”).
Cobbler Union
American brand Cobbler Union celebrate 10 years, and they do it with an anniversary sale with up to 40% off a bunch of styles. So if you’ve been eyeing something from them, might be the time to pull the trigger. They also have a factory outlets section, and there it’s an extra 10% discount.
Bexley
Bexley from France, with Portugese-made mostly Blake stitched shoes, are low priced stuff but for their price point their quite good. Now during sale you can get a pair for less than €100, which is a good price for what you get.
