Summer sale season is on, and every day now we get announcements from brands and retailers about sales starting. Here I gather a few interesting ones where you can browse around to make a good bargain.
Lester
This is one of the bigger sales I’ve seen from the well-renowned Swedish retailer Lester. You have a bunch of models from Berwick, Paraboot, Astorflex, Fiddler, Loake and others, discounted with 30-50%.
Bexley
Bexley is a giant when it comes to lower priced dress shoes in France. Most are Blake stitched, but they have some Goodyear welted models as well. They always state very clearly the construction, where it’s manufactured and so on, which is great. During the sale you can get their shoes at less than €100, so almost 40% off the RRP.
Barker
The British Northampton brand Barker often run good sales, no difference this season. No less than 300 styles are currently discounted, so good chances for most to find a model that one have been looking for at an extra good price. Up to half the price off.
Loding
Another French budged brand, Loding, whose shoes are mainly made in Portugal. They have mainly Blake stitched shoes, some Goodyear, where the sale has discounts down from their RRP around €200 down to around €150 in general.
Care of Carl
Care of Carl is like the Scandinavian equivalent of Mr. Porter, an online menswear store with a huge selection of clothes, shoes and accessories. In recent years they’ve started doing more traditional sales, and here you certainly can find some goodies. For example shoes from John Lobb, Edward Green, Crockett & Jones, Church’s, Heschung, Loake, Santoni, Sanders and others are available at 30-40% off.
Crockett & Jones
With the entrance of Crockett & Jones own webshop, we also got their regular season sales available worldwide. Up to 35% off on a quite large selection of models, where many also have many sizes left.
Septieme Largeur
Septieme Largeur is a well-established actor on the midrange welted men’s shoe scene. Known for offering affordable footwear already at RRP, now on sale you really get a lot of bang for the buck. Both boots, dress shoes, patina shoes and more are available at a discount, 30-40% off in most cases.
Caulaincourt
If you like French flair, you’ll like Caulaincourt. Not the largest sales section, but could surely still be of interest if you find something cool that you like. Note that in many cases there’s several colours available of each model. Discounts run from 20-50%. They also have 20% off on all black patina shoes.
