Aristocrats Society is a Swedish / Monaco based brand focusing on fine Albert slippers made in Portugal. Now the brand is closing down their business, and the online store Pete & Harry sell off all remaining stock, with over 500 pairs offered at a 60-70% discount.
The Albert slipper dates back to early 1800’s, and is named after Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Elizabeth. He was one of the trendsetting men in the British high society who started wearing these wholecut velvet slippers to smoking attire for formal events, and with time it has become immensely popular for indoor formal events, gentlemen’s clubs etc, and nowadays also for more varied occasions, to some people’s joy and others fear.
Aristocrats Society is a Swedish / Monaco based brand which has specialised in Albert slippers in nice silk velvet and also quality Italian suede, manufactured in Portugal. The persons behind the brand didn’t really have time to work with it as they wished, so recently they decided to close it down. Now the online vintage, second hand and sample store Pete & Harry are selling of the entire stock of slippers that remained.
There’s over 500 pairs of Albert slippers available at between 60-70% off the RRP, so slippers in velvet now cost only €90 (1,000 SEK) and suede ones €120 (1,300 SEK), quite a bargain for sure. Lots of different colours and lots of different embroideries to chose from. There’s also a bunch of Blake stitched chelsea boots part of the clearance sale, the other shoe model Aristocrats offered.
