One more year has passed, and we’re all older and wiser. As I’m in the middle of the celebrations with some friends here at home, I took a quick snap and sneaked off to the office to wish all of you Shoegazing readers a Happy New Year as well!
2025 has been a really busy year both with Shoegazing and now doing three super trunk events (since the first Singapore Super Trunk Show takes place on January 31 2026 most of the work was done this year) and with my everyday job at the shoe and shoe care webshop Skolyx, so I sort of struggle to keep up with everything, but I hope things will settle in next year. The first year we do three super trunks, where also some interesting developments of some might take place. I still publish Shoegazing in three languages, English, Swedish and Japanese, we’ll see how long I feel I have the capacity to do this, it’s been more challenging than I thought (which is why the smaller Swedish and Japanese sites sometimes get updates a bit after the main English one).
