The Florentine based Japanese shoemaker Hidetaka Fukaya with the brand Il Micio has always been one to try out special things. This shoe with a unique patina done by the same technique as when one do paper marbling is certainly a really cool one that stands out.
It of course has Il Micio’s characteristic elongated last shape and pointy toe. In recent years Hidetaka Fukaya has spent more and more time developing his successful leather bags and accessories, but I really hope he never stops making also footwear, I think he has a lot of more creative stuff to give to the shoe world.
