There’s been lots of these articles lately, highlighting various sales, which says a lot about the current situation for the industry. In today’s post I write about Meermin’s second sale ever, and about Gaziano & Girling’s ongoing sale which just have had more models added.

So of the two ends of the market, we start with Spanish brand Meermin who are among the cheapest Goodyear welted shoes you can find already at RRP. Now when on sale their regular range shoes are down to about €130, and boots about €40 more. Since the coronavirus situation have had their stores closed for three months, they have a large amount of models included in the sale. Personally I think the more expensive but hand welted and less stiff Linea Maestro line is a nicer find, some also with JR soles that are much better than their regular line leather soles, a few models from this range is now available at only €230.

British premium brand Gaziano & Girling, who make some of the finest – and most expensive -Goodyear welted RTW shoes you can find, have had a sale ongoing for a large part of the spring, due to corona. With 20% off on all their offerings, both RTW stock and MTO of the standard range as well as their top MTO range Deco. For their regular RTW range this brings them down to about €960, and their newer simpler Classic range cost about €620. They just added several new models to their online store, and thus the sale, like the very popular adelaide St James II. Use the code SPRING20 to have the 20% discount added.
