Hungarian brand Vass Shoes has had tough times during the pandemic, which has resulted in a number of different campaigns the past year. Now they run the second big sitewide sale, with discounts on up to 55% on all their hand welted, fully handmade shoes, meaning they start off from only €265 ($250 excl. VAT).
There’s many shoe brands around the world that has a challenging year behind them. For Vass Shoes, the hit has been extra hard in the sense that they normally has a lot of their sales to tourists visiting their two stores in the centre of Budapest. To more or less completely remove this part in an instance obviously is tough for a small business like Vass. One can only hope that when the world now gets vaccinated we’ll soon be back to something more of a normal state, and businesses like Vass can start to recover and get back to where they once were.

Well over a hundred different models are on sale now, and in many cases there’s also a bunch of sizes in stock. A few models are not discounted, cordovan shoes and some in exotic leathers. The amount of discount varies, but there’s a bunch of models at 40-50% off, which sure means you can grab a serious bargain. To get a pair of hand welted shoes with handmade sole stitch andJR oak bark tanned soles etc, plus lasted shoe trees, at well below €300 is seriously good. Oliver: No. I’m fully aware that only about 10% of the world is vaccinated yet, and that in many countries it will still take time before vaccination starts. Yet it’s a fact that vaccination is rolling out quickly, it has started in all regions of the world, and there are countries from Europe, North America, Asia and South America among the top nations with largest parts of populations vaccinated. So I feel fine writing that, I don’t think anyone interpret it as me saying that everyone around the world are being vaccinated “now”.
