Myrqvist AW 2022

The Swedish brand Myrqvist introduces several new boots for this autumn/winter, including an updated version of their hiking boot and oiled leather chelseas on very sturdy Vibram rubber soles. Good stuff for the upcoming colder days.

 

Myrqvist has been around for many years now, starting by doing shoes in Vietnamn and India they now make all their footwear in Portugal, with mainly Goodyear welted shoes but also cemented and sidewall stitched. They are now about to drop a bunch of news for the season, where some models are available to pre-order now while some will soon open for pre-order.

One almost all new model is Duved II, a continuation of last years take on a hiking boot, now with a new sole and some other modifications. Full leather lining, padded insole, cemented construction. Four colours of suede from the British tannery Charles F. Stead, and one in a black embossed grain leather. Price is €269.

Other news is a chelsea boot in a sturdy oiled suede leather in a dark brown shade, equipped with a heavier Vibram rubber sole for a rugged feel. The jumper boot Abisko comes in a new medium brown suede, and a split toe boot comes in a black suede version. The boots are all Goodyear welted, and priced at €289.
