It was three years since, but the past weekend it was finally time for the Stockholm edition of the super trunk shows again. Six shoe companies and three partners exhibited, lots of shoe shining happenings including the Swedish champs, second hand marketplace and much more. Here’s a summary of the day with loads of photos.
Time for the second edition of the Amsterdam Super Trunk Show. A bunch of shoe brands from all over the world, partners and other interesting menswear exhibitors, plus the Dutch Championships in Shoe Shining, all taking place at the amazing Vondelkerk, in the central parts of Amsterdam, on Saturday October 1. Finally time for super trunk in Stockholm again, on Saturday 24 September. Six shoe exhibitors from different parts of the world, plus three partners exhibiting. Also featuring, among other things, Swedish Championships of Shoe Shining, spit shine shine workshop, free shoe shine service and of course Shoegazing Market – the second hand marketplace for selling and buying quality second hand shoes.
Last weekend it finally happened. The fourth edition of the London Super Trunk Show took place, a wonderful day who gathered almost 1,200 visitors from around the world, who enjoyed quality shoes in all its shapes and three world championship contests. After a long hiatus, this weekend it’s finally happening again, the London Super Trunk Show is back! Held in the heart of London at 12 Regent Street, gathering more than ten awesome exhibitors and hosting the World Championships in shoemaking, shoe shining and shoe patina. We can also announce a free shoe shining service by Saphir during the day. Here’s some practical info ahead of the event, for those who plan to visit, and on the live streaming we will do for those who can’t attend.

It’s confirmed! On Saturday May 7 it’s finally time again for one of the world’s largest open event on classic shoes, The London Super Trunk Show, organised by Shoegazing and The Shoe Snob. In the middle of London on 12 Regent Street, we gather more than ten brands from all over the world, interesting partners, there will be the World Championships in Shoe Shining and Shoe Patina, plus the World Championships in Shoemaking will have it’s award ceremony and competition shoes displayed. This weekend the annual Independent Shoemakers Conference takes place, the first edition to be held online, due to obvious reasons. The positive thing is that it makes it even more accessible for all shoemakers, and those who are interested in shoemaking. A lot of knowledge is shared in videos and seminars with shoemakers from around the world, and conference participants have a full month to view all the content. Also briefly about the fact that we have once again postponed the London Super Trunk Show, new date is Saturday October 9.
Today the second edition of the large shoe event Isetan Shoe Expo started at the event space in their department store in Shinjuku, Tokyo. For obvious reasons a less international event this year – still a big happening with lots of great stuff for shoe lovers.
