Now the road to the finals of the World Championships of Shoe Shining and the World Championships of Shoe Patina 2025 starts, with the qualifications. The contests are organised together with the shoe care company Saphir and the shoe brand Bridlen, with finals at the London Super Trunk Show on Saturday May 10. Contestants will battle it out for glory, medals, shoes, shoe care products plus now also with £600 / $750 in the prize pool of each contest, given by Saphir.

We now open the qualifications to the U.S. Championships of Shoe Shining 2024, with the finals taking place at the huge shoe event New York Super Trunk Show on October 5. The contest and the event are organised by The Shoe Snob, Shoegazing and Kirby Allison in collaboration with sponsors Saphir and Bridlen Shoemaker. Apart from the shine contest where finalists will have 20 minutes to shine their shoes, we’ll also have a shoe patina exhibition and a free shoe shine service on site.

We now open up the fifth edition of the World Championships of Shoemaking, where the final takes place during the London Super Trunk Show on May 4 2024. We have £6,000 (€7,000 / $7,400) and handmade shoemaking awls in the prize pool, and a chance to be showcased in shoe stores around the world. This year a loafer is the competition shoe to be made.
