The fact that the Japanese can their handicraft is hardly a secret, and here we see further evidence of this. Shoes made entirely of chocolate, made in size UK7. Price: €300.

It is Rihga Royal Hotel’s chocolaterie L’éclat in Osaka who are behind the works, led by their master chocolate maker Motohiro Okai. Apparently the hardest thing wast to get the finish to look like leather, while the stitching, laces etc was much easier. It’s undeniably an impressive craftsmanship, and the price is as mentioned almost €300. Only nine pairs will be manufactured and delivered just in time for Valentine’s Day next year.
