In the work with developing TLB Mallorca’s new top range Artista, which I was involved in, the main challenge was probably to get to the very narrow waist we were looking for. That is why I’m so pleased with a picture as this above that shows how well it succeeded.

Both the leather soles and the rubber soles are very narrowly cut, the bevelling is built up relatively much, and perhaps the most unique is how the bevelling continues under the heel, which gives the extra strength that the purpose of the bevelled waist was from the beginning, but which disappeared on factory-made shoes where you more or less always level out the waist before the heel.
