Today Spanish budget brand Meermin premiere a factory seconds sale. On what seem to be planned as an annual event they offer up to 50% discount on lots of different models, with pairs that have failed the quality check and therefore end up as subs. This means that Goodyear welted shoes from €85 are up for grabs.

We now head into sale season for real, with Singles Day behind us and Black Friday next week. So expect some sales alerts the coming weeks. Meermin, with the company based on Mallorca and with factory in China, are one of the biggest brands for welted shoes in the lower price segment. Their main line shoes starts at €160 RRP, and the finer hand welted Linea Maestro goes for €260. Good prices already then obviously, now when they have a sale on their factory seconds prices obviously becomes very low, as mentioned from €80, although most are around €100.

Now with the price point they sell for at regular retail price this is shoes that goes rather quick through the factory and customers often find small stuff on their shoes, so the pairs that have been removed to not meet the quality control standard can have rather large issues in at least some cases, this one should be ready for. Meermin have listed the type of issues one can expect also with example pictures, which is a good and fair thing. Since sales are final, do know your size before ordering, happy hunting (the sale is found here). The sale ends November 21.
