There’ll be 14 shoe and menswear companies from around the globe exhibiting, a marketplace for second hand shoes, a free shoe shining service, plus the finals of the world championships of shoe shining, shoe patina and shoemaking. Time to kick things off ahead of the finals of the World Championships of Shoe Shining and the World Championships of Shoe Patina 2024, with the qualifications. The contests are organised together with the shoe care company Saphir and the shoe brand Bridlen. Finals take place at the London Super Trunk Show on Saturday May 4. The patina finalists will paint their shoes during the whole event, and the shoe shiners have 20 minutes to shine a shoe.

Two weekends ago the first New York Super Trunk Show took place, and what a day it was. About 1,200 shoe and menswear lovers came through the doors and explored the offerings from the 17 exhibitors from around the world, a shoe patina exhibition was held, and the first U.S. shoe shining champs took place. This weekend it’s finally time for the first edition of the New York Super Trunk Show. Held on Manhattan, on Upper East Side between Madison Ave and Central Park. We’ll gather more than 15 exhibitors from all over the world, host a patina exhibition, and the inaugural U.S. Championships of Shoe Shinig.
