We are very happy to once again invite you to the world’s largest open event for classic shoes, the London Super Trunk Show, organized by Shoegazing and The Shoe Snob. In the middle of London on Saturday April 7 we gather more than 10 brands from all over the world, interesting partners, there will be the World Championships in Shoe Shining, and the first World Championships in Shoemaking will have it’s award ceremony and competition shoes displayed. The online store The Sabot is now introducing Japanese Joe Works to the Western market. Joe Works has received a lot of attention online for their very classy classic shoes, which may not stand out remarkably, but has that aesthetic perfection that makes them liked by almost everyone.
Another super trunk has passed, and once again we are very happy with the day. Over 700 people visited the event, over 100 pairs of shoes were bought for a value of about €35 000 (and many more orders placed the following days). Here’s a summary of the day in text and picture.
Today the new Swedish initiative The Sabot was launched, an online store with a very interesting selection of shoes. Their own Private Label brand is manufactured by Antonio Meccariello, his Argentum range, Andrés Sendra and also Japanese Yohei Fukuda’s RTW shoes.
We are pleased to present this year’s edition of the Shoegazing Super Trunk Show in Stockholm Saturday September 2. This year we focus a bit more on Swedish online companies, the line-up will be Myrqvist (Herrstil), Yanko (Skolyx), The Sabot (also with Andrés Sendra, Antonio Meccariello and Yohei Fukuda), Jan Kielman and Hiro Yanagimachi. Plus Swedish Championships in Shoe Shining, shoe care workshop and an open Q&A with people from the shoe industry.
The first London Super Trunk Show was successfully held this Saturday, with around 800 visitors and shoes sold or purchased for about €62 000/£53 000. It was a great atmosphere during the day, and both exhibitors, partners and visitors was very pleased. Here’s a summary of the day with a lot of pictures.
We now present the final exhibitor at the London Super Trunk Show this coming Saturday May 13. It’s a Swedish based online retailer named The Sabot, selling their own brand, Antonio Meccariello and the all-new RTW range from the Japanese Yohei Fukuda, who also will come to the event. Visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to buy and order their offerings ahead of the actual store opening in a few weeks.
