The London Super Trunk Show last weekend was another brilliant shoe day. New visitor record of over 1,300 people coming to browse the men’s shoe and menswear exhibitors from around the world and follow the three world championships contests: in shoe shining, shoe patina and shoemaking. The finalists have been selected. We’ll have a Chinese, a Japanese and a Swiss battling it out in the shine final, and the same Swiss (!) and two from France fighting for the patina title. Finals take place at the London Super Trunk Show on May 4. See their submissions here.
The huge shoe event in London is back for its sixth instalment, on Saturday May 4. There’ll be 14 shoe and menswear companies from around the globe exhibiting, a marketplace for second hand shoes, a free shoe shining service, plus the finals of the world championships of shoe shining, shoe patina and shoemaking. Time to kick things off ahead of the finals of the World Championships of Shoe Shining and the World Championships of Shoe Patina 2024, with the qualifications. The contests are organised together with the shoe care company Saphir and the shoe brand Bridlen. Finals take place at the London Super Trunk Show on Saturday May 4. The patina finalists will paint their shoes during the whole event, and the shoe shiners have 20 minutes to shine a shoe.

On Saturday May 13 it’s back – one of the world’s largest open event on quality shoes, The London Super Trunk Show, organised by Shoegazing and The Shoe Snob. In the middle of London on 12 Regent Street, we gather 11 brands from all over the world, partners exhibit, there will be the World Championships of Shoe Shining and Shoe Patina, plus the World Championships of Shoemaking have its award ceremony and competition shoes displayed, and for the first time we have a second hand shoe marketplace on site.
