This week I received a new bespoke pair from British Gaziano & Girling, adorable dark brown chukka boots with leather soles. Here is a bunch of pictures of the goodies.

Is it made on a brand new last from you first Bespoke order? or do you now have a boot and a shoe last in your name at G&G

Don: Thank you! It’s made on the same last (with some modifications for improved fit). If it’s not high boots you normally make them on the shoe lasts, sometimes with extensions at the instep and/or the back, but for chukkas with an unlined shaft they can use only the shoe last.
